Meet the Straub’s…

We’re Matt and Jessica, proud owners of Straub Beef Farms. As a family of eight, we are passionate about raising high-quality, grass-fed, hormone-free beef while staying true to our values of hard work, sustainability and good stewardship of the land. As Straubs, we are third generation farmers and we are excited to create our own legacy in Beaver County, PA where our farm is situated on 100 acres just north of Pittsburgh, in Darlington, PA. Matt is a proud Marine Corps Combat Veteran and First Responder. As such, we acknowledge the selflessness of Veterans, First Responders and their families and are honored to offer a discount in gratitude for their service.

We are excited for the opportunity Bill and Sallie Patton have given us to continue preserving precious farmland in Beaver County. They both come from multi-generational farming backgrounds in Western PA and we look forward to their continued mentorship.

It is our desire to raise cattle that nourishes your family and ours.

We pride ourselves in being able to offer cattle free from added growth hormones and no blanket immunizations (like the big commercial farms), so that you know what you are putting into your body is high-quality. Our beef are raised on rotational grazing pastures so that they have access to lush grass and legumes every day. This assures a superior beef product that is lean, nutrient-rich and tender.
